The High Plains Singers is a non-denominational community choir based in Elizabeth, Colorado. The choir has been performing for over 20 years, with membership now approaching 60 singers. Our choir director, John Dahm, will be retiring after 22 years, and so we are in search of a new director.
The choir is a long-standing tradition in Elizabeth, performing twice annually, with audiences of over 300 people. This choir usually performs their concerts in the Elizabeth Middle School auditorium, but has also performed at the Parker Performing Arts, Culture Center (PACE) , and at various outdoor venues including Memorial Day and Independence Day celebrations in Elizabeth. We are a close-nit organization, with members also doing all necessary administrative functions required to put on our productions. We have weekly rehearsals in Elizabeth, taking breaks over Christmas and Summer. If you know of someone who might be interested in directing this choir, please contact us.
You can find out more information on this website, including history, photos, and sample musical selections.

We hope to continue the Elizabeth 'tradition' of having a great community choir, and would be most interested in speaking with any potential candidates.
